About Me

I love storytelling, big and small.

I wrote my first line in a journal at fifteen. The following year, I took a 35mm camera on a semester abroad in the UK, and I have been hooked on words and pictures ever since.

After earning a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University, followed by internships and documentary projects, I began working for media publications and nonprofits.

Some of my most meaningful experiences have been leading photojournalism workshops for teens in Haiti and photographing humanitarian projects for Self-Help Africa in Ethiopia.
