Bio
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Shelley is a freelance photographer with a BA in Journalism from San Francisco State University. She is a member of the Photo Advisory Board and volunteer for Zanmi Lakay, a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for current and former street children in Haiti. Her travels have taken her to Haiti, Central America, Asia, Europe and Australia. She has been published in Need, World Vision, Wired, The Sunday Independent, The Australian Weekly, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The International Herald Tribrune, ESPN News and Forbes.com. She has documented events for Litquake, The New Yorker, Men's Vogue, House & Garden, Incisive Media and Social Planets. Shelley lives in San Francisco and makes frequent trips to her family's farm in Modoc County, Northern California.
